Remote Control Device Overview
Entering an Execute Command
The command required to change the audio volume of Channel A from
50% to 80% is shown below.
ADA_VOL_80
ADA
is the command mnemonic that controls the audio decoder for
Channel A.
VOL
is first–level mnemonic specifying the audio volume
parameter, and
80
is the second–level mnemonic, which defines the
level to which you want to set the volume.
The command sequence displays as follows:
>ADA_VOL_80
Loading Audio Decoder A...
After the
TDR7 has set the parameter, the prompt displays to indicate
that the
TDR7 is ready for the next command. If you want to verify that
the
TDR7 set the parameter you specified, enter the appropriate query
command.
Because the VOL first–level mnemonic has a numerical equivalent,
you can also enter the same execute command as shown below.
ADA_11_80
In this case,
ADA
is the command mnemonic that controls the audio
decoder for Channel A, the number
11
represents the first–level
mnemonic specifying the audio volume parameter, and the number
80
represents the second–level mnemonic specifying the requested
volume.
