Using a Remote Control Device Interface
Saving Configurations in Non–Volatile (Flash) Memory
The
TDR7
contains a bank of non–volatile (flash) memory that
is used to store firmware, software, and hardware configuration
files as well as unit configuration parameters.
When you issue commands from a remote control device to
change the
TDR7
operating mode or configuration, the changes
are not automatically stored in non–volatile (flash) memory.
Whenever you change your configuration using a remote control
device, you should perform an operational test to verify that the
system is operating correctly, then save the new configuration by
issuing the
MC_FLASH_SAVE
command. Once you have saved
the configuration, the
TDR7
will automatically restore to the
saved settings whenever the unit is reset or powered up.
