Using the Control Front Panel
VBI Menu
If your TDR7 has the TTO–6000 option module
installed, the next menu displayed is the VBI menu. If your TDR7 does
not have the TTO–6000 option module installed, the next menu
displayed is the Version menu, which is described on the following
page.
The VBI menu contains the Teletext submenu, which contains three
functions: PID, Mode, and Active Line.
The PID function allows you to display the teletext PID in the selected
service. The TDR7 automatically selects the teletext PID available in
the selected service.
The Mode function allows you to determine whether the teletext data
will be included in the video output stream. Unless you select
On
, the
teletext will not be provided in the video output stream.
The Active Line function allows you to display the teletext lines that are
being inserted into the transport stream by the encoder.
