Configuring the TDR7
Monitoring and Troubleshooting With an RCD
As a matter of routine and during troubleshooting, you will want to
monitor the lock status of the demodulator, decoder, and transport
stream and view various aspects of the incoming signal. Additionally,
you will need to view and monitor faults. The following commands
provide examples of how to perform these tasks using the RCD.
Specific information on how to use these functions during
troubleshooting are explained in
Chapter 6 of this manual.
To view demodulator lock status:
At the RCD, type
QD_LOCK_DEMOD
, then press the

key.
To view decoder lock status:
At the RCD, type
QD_LOCK_DECODER

key.
To view transport stream lock status:
At the RCD, type
QD_LOCK_TRANSPORT

key.
To view the receive signal level:

To view the carrier offset:
