Using the Control Front Panel
Control Menu
The Control menu is separated into four functions:
Init, RS–232, Clock, and Reset.
The Init function allows you to quickly and easily restore the TDR7 to
the DVB configuration.
The RS–232 function allows you to configure the remote control port
parameters including Baud Rate, Parity, and Data (character length).
The Clock function allows you to set the TDR7 day and time. The time
must be set in hh.mm.ss format. The hours are in a 24–hour format
and must be set from 00 to 23, where 00 is midnight and 23 is 11 PM.
For example, for 8 AM you would set
08
and for 8 PM you would set
20
. Both the minutes and the seconds can be set from 00 to 59. To set
the time, use the keypad to type in the current hour, minutes, and
seconds, separating each category with a period. Then press the
Enter
button.
The day must be set as a number between 1 and 31. To set the day, use
the keypad to type in the day, then press the
Enter
button.
Step–by–step procedures for setting the clock are listed in Chapter 5 of
this manual.
