Tiernan Warranty Statement and Technical Support
Returning Units
When returning units, please note the following:
1.
Units shall be forwarded to Tiernan with all transportation,
duties, and taxes prepaid.
2.
Units returned to Tiernan for repair must be accompanied by an
RMA number.
3.
Units returned to Tiernan freight collect or without an RMA
number will not be accepted under any circumstances.
4.
Tiernan shall not accept any responsibility for returned units that
are improperly packaged and/or damaged in shipment. If
possible, use original shipping and packaging materials.
5.
Original product identification markings and labels must not
have been removed, defaced, or altered. Further, to preserve
warranty, the product must not have been subject to abuse,
improper installation or application, alteration, accident, or
negligence in use, storage, transportation, or handling.
6.
Any returned product shall be completely evaluated in an attempt
to duplicate the problem so that appropriate corrective action and
repair may be completed. Following repair, the product shall be
thoroughly tested for compliance with appropriate specifications.
This process will be handled in an expedient and prompt manner
but may be subject to available labor and material resources.
7.
The Tiernan warranty, as stated herein, is in lieu of all other
warranties, expressed, implied, or statutory.

CAUTION: Record Configuration Settings
Prior to returning a unit for service, you should record your
configuration settings as the unit will be returned configured for
the DVB defaults. When your unit is returned, you may need to
reconfigure it to meet your operational requirements.
