The following softkeys can be programmed on the TalkSwitch TS-480i.

— The softkey is not programmed.
•
Line Appearance
— Shows the status of a telephone line or VoIP number, and allows you to
access it. A status icon and line ID will appear beside the softkey. The On-Hook icon appears
if the line is available. The Ring icon appears if the line is ringing an extension. The Off-
Hook icon appears if the line is being used. Press the softkey to immediately connect the
extension to the line. You do not have to dial the hunt group number.

Extension Appearance
— Shows the status of a local extension, and allows you to access it. A
status icon and caller ID will appear beside the softkey. The On-Hook icon appears if the
extension is available. The Ring icon appears if the extension is ringing or on hold. The Off-
Hook icon appears if the extension is being used. Press the softkey to ring the extension.

Queue Appearance
— Shows the status of a local extension call queue, and allows you to
connect with the oldest queued call. A status icon, extension number and “Q” will appear
beside the softkey. The On-Hook icon appears if the extension has no calls queued. The Ring
icon appears if the extension has one or more calls queued. Press the softkey to connect
with the oldest queued call.

softkey to access the voice mailbox of the local extension.
