NETWORK AND REMOTE DISPLAY SETTINGS
This button is visible only for a device equipped with the ACM or ETU module.
Network settings
allows the user to configure the network settings by downloading and
visualizing the data from the device through the Ethernet connection.
Remote display
settings allow the user to configure the MultiCon and to display any data with an external PC.
The parameters of the
Network settings
menu are:

DHCP
(Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) - allows a device to be configured
automatically, eliminating the need for intervention by a network administrator,
•
disabled
-
DHCP
is disabled, the user needs to manually enter an
IP address
and
Subnet mask
in the following fields, and a
Default gateway
address if
required.

enabled
- the network settings are automatically generated by the DHCP server,
after setting the DHCP, it takes several seconds before the IP address is
obtained from the DHCP server, if the user sets this option, other parameters in
this menu are invisible,
–
IP address
- this parameter is visible only if the
DHCP
parameter is set as
disabled
,
the user may enter a static IP address,
–
Subnet mask
- this parameter is visible only if the
DHCP
parameter is set as
disabled
, sets a range of IP addresses that can be accessed,
–
Default gateway
- this parameter is visible only if the
DHCP
parameter is set as
disabled
, and allows the user to enter a gateway IP address for use when the device
is to communicate outside the local network.
