Replace the I/O control board.
Replace the system control board.
Check the scanner drive load.
Check fuse FU2 on the dc power supply board.
Check the scanner wire.
2.7 CODES #25 AND #2E
- Phenomena -
SC #25: The I/O control board cannot detect the scanner drive direction from
encoder pulses.
SC #2E: The encoder pulse is not detected within 100 msec.
- Possible Causes -

Scanner drive motor failure
I/O control board malfunction
Optical scanner overload (binding)
The dc power supply is not sup24V.
The scanner wire is slipping.

Check the encoder output of the scanner drive motor. If there is anything
abnormal, replace the scanner drive motor.
Check CN301-B19 on the I/O control board:
Check the encoder output voltage by turning the scanner drive motor.
If the voltage level changes, replace the l/O control board.
If the voltage level stays at 5V or 0V, replace the scanner drive motor.
Check the load on the optical scanner.
Check fuse FU2 on the dc power supply board.
Check the scanner wire.
