6.3 CHARGE CORONA HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

NOTE: Adjust the charge corona height after cleaning the optics section.

Adjust the charge corona height to achieve even gradation [A] using an OS-
A3 test chart as following order.

1) Place the charge corona unit on a flat surface with the grid side [B] down.

2) Measure the height of the rear side of the corona wire [C].

3) Adjust the front side to be eqal to the rear measurement.

NOTE: Measurement should be approximately 9 mm.
