1.13 EXPOSURE LAMP POSITION ADJUSTMENT
1. Turn off the main switch.
2. Remove the exposure glass. (See Exposure Glass Removal section.)
3. Move the first scanner to the cutout position.
4. Remove the front and rear terminal covers [A] (1 screw each).

5. Position a scale [B] near the sight hole [C] of the reflector cover to form a
right angle for viewing alignment as shown.
6. View the lamp filament [D] through the sight hole in parallel with the scale.
The filament should be directly beneath the sight hole.
NOTE: If the filament cannot be seen easily, use a penlight to illuminate the
exposure lamp.
7. Turn adjusting screw [E] to correct the position of the filament.
Loosen the screw: Filament moves to the left (F direction)
Tighten the screw: Filament moves to the right (G direction)
