7.3 HOT ROLLER REPLACEMENT
1. Remove the fusing lamp. (See the Fusing Lamp Replacement section.)
2. Press both “B2” release levers and lower the paper exit assembly [A].
3. Remove the front and rear pressure springs [B].
4. Remove the rear lamp terminal [C] (1 screw).
5. Remove the front and rear C rings [D], drive gear [E], front and rear col-
lars [F], and front and rear fusing bearings [G]. Then, remove the hot
roller [H] and replace it.
NOTE: a) Peel off 3 cm (1 inch) from both ends of the protective sheet, and
install the hot roller.
b) Before setting the pressure springs, remove the rest of the
protective sheet.
