6.9 CHARGE CORONA CURRENT ADJUSTMENT (SP Mode

#9-2)

Standard Value: -400 ± 2µA

1. Turn off the main switch.

2. Remove the rear cover (4 screws).

3. Lower the I/O control board [A].

4. Disconnect the charge corona terminal [M] from the CC/TC/Bias power

pack.

5. Connect the multimeter leads as shown, and measure the main corona

current.

6. Turn DIP switch 1 - 4 ON.

7. Turn on the main switch, and select SP Mode #9-2 as shown.

8. Adjust the charge corona current to -400 ± 2µA by turning VR1 on the

CC/TC/Bias power pack.

NOTE: To avoid possible shock hazard it is recommended to attach an

aligator clip to the charge corona terminal [M] then secure positive

meter lead with the other end of the clip.
