SETUP CINEMA (7/8) menu page
This menu page is used to configure server settings related to playback of content (including Digital Cinema
Compositions) within a Digital Cinema environment.
Setup Cinema Options
Description
This control allows you to specify the volume and directory
path of content files or assets. By default, this location is set to
the root of the primary system volume. However, if your system
is configured to use multiple volumes, you may use this control
to specify an alternate content resource path.
Asset Path
If you set this control to use a different asset path, the system
will reroute default access to system content directories such
as the “/clips” and “/scripts” to the new path.
With this control, the server may be configured to boot or load
the operating system from one volume and play content from
another without manually navigating to the non-system volume.
Use this control to specify how Subtitles will be rendered.
Remote
– Use this setting if Subtitle rendering will be
processed remotely on a Digital Cinema projector (e.g.
CineCanvas). Two other settings are required:
Projector Type
and
Projector Subtitle IP Address
.
Local
(optional) – Use this setting to enable QuVIS TitleMaster
(if present) to render Digital Cinema Subtitles on the server and
overlay the timed-text or PNG graphics on the output video
stream.
Subtitles
Note:
QuVIS TitleMaster is an optional licensed
feature module. If QuVIS TitleMaster is not present,
this setting will not output Digital Cinema Subtitles and
the
remote
option should be used.
Projector Type
This control is used to specify the model of projector being
used for Show Playlist (script) automation or TPC script events.
This setting enables the Acuity to customize automation events
