SETUP GUI (3/8) menu page
This menu page allows the operator to customize certain GUI settings. The use of the screen saver is
recommended in order to prevent “burn-in” on the display.
Setup GUI Options
Description
This control is used to adjust the sensitivity of motion operations on the
front panel touchpad, used for GUI navigation and control. The primary
affect of this setting is how fast or slow the GUI point will move across
the interface when moving a finger across the touchpad surface.
Touchpad Motion
Motion levels include
Slow, Medium
and
Fast.
Touchpad Touch
This control is used to adjust the sensitivity of
touch
operations on the
front panel touchpad. This setting primarily affects
tap select
operations
(similar to clicking the left mouse button on a computer).
Touch levels include:
Light – touchpad requires a soft (light) touch.
Medium – touchpad requires an average (medium) touch.
Heavy – touchpad requires a firm (heavy) touch.
Touchpad Tap
The toggle control is used to enable/disable the pointer tap function of
the touchpad. When enabled, a single tap on the touchpad acts like a
center button press.
Calc Directory Size
This toggle control is used to instruct the system whether or not to
recursively calculate the size of the current directory and all of its
subdirectories, when a file browser is loaded. When activated (default),
the system can accurately report the size of any folder or directory on a
volume.
Text/TC Entry
This control is used to set the input method used for entering
text
(alpha-
numeric) and
timecode
values from the front panel GUI.
