QShell via Telnet connection (Advanced)
Before you can establish a Telnet session, you will need to know the IP address of the QuVIS Acuity you wish to
connect to. This section assumes that networking between the Acuity and the PC has been properly configured and
established.
1.
Start your Telnet client and start a new connection.
2.
Provide the IP address of the QuVIS Acuity in the method required by the Telnet client software.
3.
If the connection is successful, a remote QShell session will be opened and a command prompt will be
displayed ready to accept commands.
Note:
The maximum number of Telnet sessions that the server will support is determined by the
Environment
Variable
“network,MaxTelnets”. The default value is “5”.
