Setting with Intelligent Tap
3-6-2. Performing Backup
When performing the Backup, make sure to set the DIP Switch Position 1 at OFF (Unlock)
before turning on the power. If the DIP Switch Position 1 is at ON (Lock), the Restoration
is performed, which may case the settings of the F3SG-SR to be overwritten and a person
to go undetected, resulting in serious injury.
Follow the flowchart below to perform backup.
To run the Intelligent Tap while being connected to the F3SG-SR, you must save the F3SG-SR's
settings in the Intelligent Tap by the backup operation. After performing the Backup, set the DIP Switch
Position 1 at ON (Lock) and connect the Intelligent Tap to the F3SG-SR.

for over 1 sec
Perform Backup (copying
settings from F3SG-SR

disconnect Intelligent Tap
from sensor

TOP/BTM indicator blink sequentially.
When using SD Manager 3 by connect-
ing Intelligent Tap to PC, connecting
online is not possible during slow blinking
of IN indicator. Press Push Switch to
perform Backup and then connect online
via SD Manager 3.
If not, settings backed up here may be
accidentally overwritten later.
