Installation and Adjustment
Connections (Continued)
When connecting the video monitor to the RGB SYNC OUTPUT
connectors
Normally, set SYNC ON G in the OUTPUT SETUP menu to ON.
Set SYNC ON G to OFF in the following case: If the images displayed on the
video monitor become greenish, compared with the printout, then, adjust the video
monitor color (set the adjusted value of the video monitor color to the default).
(See
“Matching the Video Monitor Color to the Printer Color
” on page 90.) If the
images on the video monitor are still greenish, set SYNC ON G to OFF.
Making Connections to Enable Remote Control
Enabling remote control using the video system center
The OEP-3 can be controlled remotely by connecting the video system center to
the OEP-3. When the EVIS video system center is connected, it remotely controls
the OEP-3 so that the printer captures four-reduced images and then makes four-
reduced image printouts automatically.
Note
The OEP-3 cannot capture four-reduced images via the video system center for
about 30 seconds after completing printing. To capture images continuously, use
the operation buttons on the sub panel or the MAJ-898 Remote Control unit
(supplied).
