Troubleshooting
■
In the event that the Ice 900 does not work correctly, then troubleshoot with the following table
before contacting NIDEK or your authorized distributor.
* If the symptom cannot be corrected with the above actions, contact NIDEK or your authorized distributor.
Symptom
Action
The Ice 900 does not work at all.
• Confirm that the power cord is properly connected.
• Confirm that the voltage applied to the outlet is within the
range specified.
• Check the fuses. If the fuses are blown, replace them with new
ones.
See “3.2 Replacing Fuses” (page 106) for fuse replacement.
The lens cup cannot be inserted to the cup holder
smoothly or easily detached.
• Adjust the plunger of the cup holder.
For the adjustment method of the plunger, see “3.4 Adjusting
the Cup Holder” (page 108).
• Display of ”Block arm upper movement error”
• Display of “Block arm lower movement error”
• Display of ”Block arm sensor error (upper)”
• Display of ”Block arm sensor error (lower)”
• When an error display to the left is displayed, confirm that
nothing is contacting the blocking arm part.
• Check that blocking arm part or blocking system part moves
smoothly or by moving lightly with hand.
When there is no abnormality, turn the power off once and on
again to operate.
