Setting Processing Conditions and Entering Layout Data

Depth
1) Press the Depth numeric button to
display the ten-key pad.
2) Enter the groove depth with the
numeric button and set with the
button. (unit: mm)
The range is 0.0 to 0.8 mm.
• Width
1) Press the Width numeric button to
display the ten-key pad.
2) Enter the groove width with the
numeric button and set with the
button. (unit: mm)
The range is 0.6 to 1.2 mm.

Press the
button to close the groove details setting menu.
• The default displayed on the Depth numeric button can be specified by setting the Groove
Depth parameter.
• The default displayed on the Width numeric button can be specified by setting the Groove
Width parameter.
• When Curve is set to other than Auto or when the groove position has been changed,
ensure that desired groove specifications are displayed by checking the simulated groove
section in the lens edger before processing lenses.
In the Ice 900, the groove specifications are set without measuring the lens curve. Therefore, the
set specifications may the groove to be off the lens edge.
