2.7.5

Measuring patterns

■

The following steps 1 and 2 differ from steps 3 and 4 of 2.7.4 Measuring demo lenses (with
marking). All other procedures are the same.

Press the

button.

Horizontally center the pattern refer-
ence holes in the square scales for pat-
tern on the screen.

As the right and left holes of the pat-
tern are detected and the tilt is auto-
matically corrected, the holes are not
necessary to be exactly horizontal.

Completely remove any pattern’s
burrs that occur in the pattern refer-
ence holes as axis alignment may not
be performed.

• Only the pattern for two-point frames is supported.

As patterns for Metal, Plastic, Nylor frame, the size is not fit, so use the tracer.

• If “Measurement completed. Failed to align axis.” is displayed on the information bar, axis

alignment failed.
When the same error occurs if the same procedure is performed, manually align the angle
properly with manual alignment mode.
