Hole positions after shape edit
When lens shapes are changed, the set hole positions are changed under the following con-
ditions:

Buttons on the Shape Editor screen
• The cross in solid lines represents the frame center of the original shape data. Once the
shape is changed, it is updated but the frame center (cross) is not be updated.
The frame center is updated when the screen is switched to the other screen.
Horizontal
direction
Calculates the pre-change H-edge hole positions and moves so that the
H-edge ratios are preserved.
Vertical direction
Fixes the position to the frame center determined before the change.
When the Hole Editor screen is displayed after the change, the coordinates
from the center moved by the change are displayed.
Step
Increases or decreases with the ten-key pad or +/- button.
Undo
Undoes the last change (undo function).
Up to three changes can be restored.
Redo
Restores the change by undo (redo function).
Undo operation can be canceled.
Clear
Cancels all changes performed in Shape Editor mode.
• Switching to the other screen after performing shape edit rewrites the original data.
At the same time, the shape data is recalculated and the circumference displayed on the screen is
rewritten.
• The layout data is not changed. However, only the FPD or DBL value is recalculated with
the new shape data and rewritten.
When the frames type is set to TwoPoint, the DBL value is fixed but the FPD one is recalculated.
For the other types of frames, the FPD value is fixed but the DBL one is recalculated.
• When the lens shape is significantly changed, the hole positions may have entered the
process-protect areas.
When lens shapes that include hole data are changed, be sure to check the hole positions on the
Hole Editor screen.
