Setting Processing Conditions and Entering Layout Data

2.5.2

Grooving settings

■

Grooving conditions can be set by the Ice 900.

Display the original shape data on the Layout screen.

Select Nylor for the frame type.

When Glass is selected for the lens
material is glass, grooving cannot be
selected.

Select Auto or Guide for processing
mode.

Press the

button to display the pop-

up menu for setting grooving details.

Enter the curve type, grooving position,
grooving depth, and grooving width in
the pop-up menu for setting grooving details.

•

Curve

1) Press the Curve button.

The pop-up menu is displayed.

When processing mode is set to Guide, the pop-up menu is not displayed. The menu is fixed to
Curve and Auto.

• The setting is possible only when the Ice 900 is connected to an edger (ME-1000, Lex

1000/Lex Drill system or SE-9090 Express/AHM-1000 system) having the Grooving
function.

For the Le 1000 series, it is necessary to use the corresponding software.
