When You Fail to Eject
When you fail to eject the optical disk tray with the Eject button and take out the optical disk from
the workstation, follow the procedure below.
1.
Press the POWER switch to power off the workstation. (The POWER/SLEEP lamp goes
off.)
2.
Insert a metal pin of approximately 1.2 mm in diameter and 100 mm in length (a
straightened large paper clip will make a substitute) into the emergency hole on the right
front of the optical disk drive and gently push it in until the tray is ejected.
The location of emergency hole may differ depending on the drive type.
IMPORTANT:
Do not use a toothpick or plastic stick that is easy to break.
If the above procedure does not let you take out the optical disk,
contact your service representative.
3.
Hold the tray and pull it out.
4.
Take out the optical disk.
5.
Push the tray back into position.
