D-6 Installing Windows 7
NOTE:
When new partition is created, initial 100MB is assigned as
boot partition by Windows OS.
Example:
If you make a partition of 16,384MB (16GB), usable space will be
16,384MB - 100MB = 16,284MB.
For example, if the mounted memory size is 1,024MB, the partition size will be calculated by the
above formula as follows:
6,100MB + (1,024MB * 1.5) + 1,024MB + 300MB + 1,024MB + Application Size
= 9,984MB + Application Size
Dividing into the partition of the recommended size into multiple disks as written below will solve
problem that it cannot be reserved in one disk.
1.
Set the "Size required for instal Paging file size".
2.
Set that debugging information (equivalent to the dump file size) is to be written to a
separate disk.
(If the disk does not have enough free space to enable the dump file size to be written,
then after installing the system using the "Size required for instal Paging file size",
install an additional new disk.)
