
Configuring Your Workstation 4-47
You can use the following procedure to clear the CMOS data in the workstation.
1.
See the section "Preparing for Installation and Removal" described in Chapter 9 to
prepare.
2.
Remove the base cover.
3.
Change the jumper switch setting to "Clear CMOS data" position.
IMPORTANT:
Keep the removed clip for future use.
4.
Reassemble the workstation, and press the POWER/SLEEP switch to power on the
workstation.
5.
When POST completes, power off the workstation.
6.
Change the jumper switch setting to "Hold CMOS data position", and power on the
workstation.
