CONFIGURING MOTHER BOARD JUMPERS
To clear the CMOS data, use the jumper switch on the mother board of the workstation.
IMPORTANT:
Clearing the CMOS data resumes the factory-set configuration data.
Do not change any other switch settings. Any change may cause the
workstation to fail or malfunction.
WARNING
Observe the following instructions to use the workstation safely. Failure to
follow these instructions may result in death or serious personal injury. See
pages 1-3 to 1-10 for details.

Do not disassemble, repair, or alter the workstation.
■
Do not remove the lithium battery.
■
Disconnect the power plug before working with the workstation.
■
Do not connect any grounding line with the power cord of the workstation
plugged to a power source.
CAUTION
Observe the following instructions to use the workstation safely. Failure to
follow these instructions may cause a fire, personal injury, or property
damage. See pages 1-3 to 1-10 for details.

Make sure to complete device installation.
■
Do not install the workstation on a rack with leaving covers removed.
■
Do not drop the workstation.
■
Do not pinch your finger with mechanical components.
■
Avoid installation in extreme temperature conditions.
IMPORTANT:
The internal components are electronic components
easily affected by static electricity. Before handling them, discharge
static electricity from your body by touching the metal frame of the
workstation or the like. Do not touch the internal components and
terminals of the boards with your bare hands. See "Static Precautions"
in Chapter 9 for details on static electricity.
