9-4  Upgrading Your Workstation

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL

Prepare the installation or removal of a component depending on the following procedure:

 

1. 

Shut down the OS.

Or, press the POWER/SLEEP switch to turn off the power of the workstation. (The
POWER/SLEEP lamp goes off.)

 

2. 

Pull out the power cord from the AC inlet on the workstation and power receptacle.

 

3. 

Remove all the cables connected to the workstation on the rear panel.
