Updating System

If you modified the Windows system, execute "Update the System" in Windows Autorun Menu.

Mounting MO Device

Do not mount an MO device on this computer during the Windows installation.

About Removable Media

Do not set removable media, such as DAT, into the device mounted on your workstation during the
OS installation.

About the Upgrade to Windows 7

The "in-place upgrade" from Windows Vista to Windows 7 is not recommended because it may
overwrite any files or registries, and cause unexpected impact to the system or the applications.

If you install Windows 7, backup user data referring "Windows 7 Clean Installation", and reinstall
Windows 7.

NOTE:

 "in-place upgrade" is to perform overwrite upgrade from

Windows 7 which already installed to Windows 7 or Windows Vista.
