Follow these steps to change the installation directory:
1. In the anti-virus domain view, right-click
Anti-virus Domain(s)
, and
choose
Add/Remove Components
,
or
Right-click an anti-virus domain, member group or member machine,
point to
Manage Components
, and then choose
Add/Remove
Components
.
The (Global) Components dialog box appears.
2. Click on the pathname in the
Install Directory
column of a selected
component, and enter your changes.
If you are attempting to modify the install directory for any item other
than the main
Anti-virus Domain(s)
, you are prompted to confirm that
you are overriding the global defaults. Click
Yes
.
Alternative directory locations for the Management Console can use
system environment variables, or fully specified paths, as shown in the
following table:
3. Click
Apply
, and then click
OK
.
The anti-virus components are moved to the default directory on those
domains or member machines.
If you originally installed the anti-virus components to the default directory
for a platform and then changed the installation directory, you can return the
anti-virus components to the original default directory.
