Configuring Complex Domains
Follow these steps to rename the displayed browse list:
1. In the Management Console’s network view, right-click the name of the
import list, and choose
Rename Browse List
.
2. Enter the new name, and then click
OK
to confirm.
The new name replaces the original in the network view. When you
rename like this, it does not rename the actual file, only the displayed
name.
To view the original pathname, turn on machine comments: Choose
View
, and
then choose
Machine Comments
from the main menu.
Viewing machine properties
To view further information about individual machines, right-click the
machine name, and choose
Properties
.
The amount of information displayed in the Properties dialog box depends on
what the Management Console has already ascertained about the machine
(
Figure 7-8
).
