Configuring Complex Domains
Renaming anti-virus domains
Follow these steps to rename an anti-virus domain:
1. Right-click the anti-virus domain name.
2. Choose
Rename Domain
.
The Rename Anti-Virus Domain dialog box appears (
Figure 7-6
).

3. Enter the new unique domain name, and click
OK
.
Each machine within an anti-virus domain needs to know the name of its
domain. If you change the domain name, you must reapply the
configuration, so that the information can be distributed to the domain
members.
4. Right-click the Management Server, and choose
Apply Configuration
.
5. Right-click the
Members
group, and choose
Apply Configuration
.
All member machines and the Management Server within this domain are
notified of the change of domain name.
NOTE:
If you change the domain name, do not change the name again
until all members have been updated with the first name change.
