Logging scheduled events
Enabling logging
Follow these steps to log scheduled events:
1. Under the Management Server for the anti-virus domain, click
Schedule
.
The Scheduler Events page appears in the right pane (
Figure 4-14
).

2. Right-click the event you want to log, and choose
Edit Event
to launch
the Event Editor.
The Event Editor dialog box appears, with the Event page showing.
3. Select a
Write to Log
option. The log file lets you keep a list of all
attempted scans that may occur when you are not present.
•
Always.
Select this option to display all logged alerts.
•
Only on Failure.
Select this option to display only critical alerts.
•
Never.
Select this option to prevent writing alerts to the log file.
4. Click
OK
.
Filtering the log
Follow these steps to filter the scheduled events log:
1. Under the Management Server for the anti-virus domain, click
Schedule
.

page).
