Creating Schedules
NOTE:
To select a group of member machines in the anti-virus
domain, click on the first machine you want to include, and then
press the
Shift
key and click on the last consecutive machine. If the
machines are not consecutive, press the
Control
key and click on
each machine you want to include.
To select all machines in the anti-virus domain or in a members
group, select
Scan Entire Domain
or
Scan Entire Members
Group
. In the future, as you add further machines to this anti-virus
domain or members group, the new machines will be scanned
automatically.
Some machines might not be present on the list; they may have been
added after this event was created. Therefore, manually selecting all
machines in the anti-virus domain or members group as targets is not the
same as
Scan Entire Domain
or
Scan Entire Members Group
.
In the next example, only the machine BISON has been selected as a
target. See the right-hand box. The checkboxes next to the
Domain
icon
and the
Members
icon are not set.
If you set a Members checkbox, all machines in that members group will
be scanned with the event you’re creating. If more machines are added to
the group in the future, they will be included automatically.
If you set a Domain checkbox, all machines in that domain will be
scanned with the event you’re creating. If more machines are added to
the domain in the future, they will be included automatically.
