6. Move the lower pinch guide assembly to the right.
7. Position the buffer diverter gate (B) using your finger to its upper-most position.

Use a prying tool to remove the e-clip securing the buffer roll assembly (C) to the front of the finisher.
9.
Remove the 6 mm bushing (D).
10.
Remove the finisher diverter gate solenoid. See
“Finisher diverter gate solenoid removal” on
page 4-350
.
11.
Loosen the two screws securing the belt tensioner bracket (E) to the finisher and move it downward, as
shown.
