area
Although this device automatically recognizes the
exposure field area and performs masking to dis -
play within the image area, the masking area can be
changed manually when necessary .

Press [Masking] .
• The viewer screen is displayed .

Using a fixed size effective image area
If you want to use a fixed size effective image area,
press [
]. Then the following buttons are displayed.

• This function does not support the stitching and mam-
mogram images .

Number Name Functions
(1) Fixed Size
Fixes the size of the effective
image area .
Select [8x10], [10x12], [11x14],
[14x14], [14x17], or [17x17].
(2) Direction
Switches the orientation of the
effective image area between
portrait and landscape .
HINT •••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••
• The fixed size effective image area can be moved by
changing the position of the center point . If any part of
the effective image area is moved outside the image
display area, the position of the center point is ad-
justed automatically so that the effective image area is
included in the display area .
• If the effective image area is not included in the image
display area after the orientation has been changed,
the size-fixing setting is cleared and the size of the ef -
fective image area is reduced until it is included in the
display area .
• If the effective image area is manually resized, the
size-fixing setting is cleared.
