19. Decommissioning and disposal
As a rule, Hygiena will not provide any patches for the Autosampler III. If the customer deems a patch Special
operations are often necessary to temporarily put installations out of operation. Safety plays an important role
in this. All necessary actions for this are described here such as precautions and technical measures.
19.1. Disassemble
If disassembly is necessary on site, this should be done from top to bottom so that the risk of falling parts is
reduced as much as possible. The Autosampler III contains heavy parts. Disassembly is not necessary for
normal decommissioning or disposal. Consult your supplier before disassembling the Autosampler III.
19.2. Environment
The user must be informed about the environmental aspects of the product, the correct volume of products
during use but also about the materials used that can burden the environment during disposal.
Determine what measures the user can take to minimize energy consumption. Also, provide information about
the responsible reuse of the product or parts thereof.
All materials used and consumed for and by the Autosampler III must be disposed of in accordance with the
legal regulations of the country where the Autosampler III is placed. Think, for example, of separating:

RVS304 / RVS 303 / aluminum
•
Copper/ brass
•
Plastics PP / PS / HMWPE (500)
•
UMWPE (1000) / PVC / PA6G
•
Oils and fats
•
Liquids
•
The foregoing must also be observed when the Autosampler III is disposed.
19.3. Disposing
The Autosampler III should be offered as much as possible in its entirety to a specialized recycling company.
Recycling must be carried out in accordance with local laws and regulations. Pay attention to the recycling of,
for example, metals, batteries, etc.
