Press "Start" to start the method on the Autosampler III.
After processing every plate, the software creates an export file at the set location with data that tracks the
boxes with the samples pipetted into the plate.
6.11. Dummies
The Autosampler III expects fully filled boxes to be entered into the
system. This also prevents samples from falling over. Whenever a box
is not fully filled, dummies should be placed in the box to fully fill it. The
camera will recognize the number of dummies and the Autosampler III will
skip samples based on the number of detected dummies.
The samples that will be skipped will start from the end of the box.
Dummies should be placed from right to left, from bottom to top.
Box with dummies should be placed in the Autosampler III as shown above.
Dummies can be created using stickers with the following symbol:
