6.1.2. Shut down of the compressor
At the end of a production day, it is advised to shut down the compressor. In order to shut down the
compressor, use the following checklist:
•
Make sure that all cleaning operations with the Autosampler III have been performed
(please refer to cleaning in Chapter 9 and end of day procedure in Chapter 6.14)
•
Close the air valve for the Autosampler III that needs to be taken out of operation.

Turn off the main switch of the compressor.
•
The compressor is now turned off.
6.2. Starting up the Autosampler III
In order to start up the Autosampler III and get the Autosampler III ready for a run, please carefully follow the
steps listed below.
Step 1: Power on the Autosampler III.
Power on the Autosampler III by using the main switch on the front IO cabinet.
Step 2: Press the "Reset" button.
Press the blue "Reset" button for approximately 3 seconds after turning on the main switch. A clicking sound
can be heard when the button is pressed.
