The following table contains the different cylinders and their explanation.
Cylinder
Explanation
Stopper Box
Stops a box at input. Moves down to allow a box to go on the belt. Then rises
up to ensures it is only one box.
Pusher Box
Pushes the box to the side, so boxes are always aligned correctly.
Destacker Clamp
Grabs a plate inside the destacker.
Stacker Pins
Keeps the plates inside the destacker. Opens to drop a plate onto the clamp.
Downholders
Used to push down samples that are stuck on the needles.
Lift Transfer
Lifts a plate above the snare belt at the corner module.
Plate Pusher 1
Pushes a plate from shaker output to lane input.
Plate Pusher 2
Pushes a plate into the lane.
Shaker Stopper
Stopper for plates on the shaker.
Shaker Clamp
Clamps plates onto the shaker, so they are stuck while shaking.
12.5.1. Cylinder control
Every cylinder can be controlled in the same way.
Select either "Out" or "In" and press the button to move the cylinder.
Every cylinder control has the following sensors.
Sensor
Explanation
Busy
Cylinder is currently being moved.
Done
Cylinder is done moving.
Error
Cylinder has an error.
In
Cylinder is in "in" position.
Out
Cylinder is in an "out" position.
Lift Transfer
Lifts a plate above the snare belt at the corner module.
Plate Pusher 1
Pushes a plate from shaker output to lane input.
Plate Pusher 2
Pushes a plate into the lane.
Shaker Stopper
Stopper for plates on the shaker.
Shaker Clamp
Clamps plates onto the shaker, so they are stuck while shaking.
