8. Installation
The connections have to be used in pairs. The pole that is not switched must be connected
to the corresponding voltage. If mass is switched,
+
must be connected to the steady
plus and/or switched plus (Clamp 15).
The connection to the GPSauge IN1 occurs via the multi-polar voltage plug of the input
box. The available voltage supply of the GPSauge IN1 is then first led into the input box.
Pay attention to the note on safety and especially to possible stumbling-traps through
the cable.
Questions about the additional status board will be answered with please by the GPSoverIP
Customer-Service.
8.3.3. Transmission of additional Analog Signals
The GPSeye IN1 can be used also for the additional transmission of analog signals (for
example temperature values in connection with the temperature sensor, and so forth).
You need here our digital cable with which you can send two analog signals and display
two analog signals in the GPS Explorer.
Free cable ends (for soldering of the analog signal and/or voltage source) make it very
easy for the experienced technician:
• Connect the voltage supply of the GPSeye IN1 directly to the digital cable.
• The yellow cable is used as an auxiliary voltage (3,8V) for the operation of freely
selectable “Electronics” (for example amplifier).
• Connect analog signals to the white or the green cable (each 1 analog entry).
If you are interested, please speak directly with the GPSoverIP Customer-Service.
