16. GPS Explorer Local Edition
16.17. End GPS Explorer Local Edition
In order to end the GPS Explorer, click on the red x on the top right.
Even if you should use Google Earth together with the GPS Explorer, you end both
programs only with a click on the red x of the GPS Explorer on the top right. A separate
ending of Google Earth should be refrained in order to avoid temporary entries on your
computer.
In certain constellations the termination in lead to some delays since a clean logout is
carried out by the GPS Explorer and this process may take some time.
16.18. GPS Explorer in the Cooperation with Google Earth
If the GPS Explorer starts with the Google Earth link, a further control bar appears for
the Google Earth functions.
Please notice that the industrial use is subject to license costs by Google Earth. In the
case of intended industrial use refer to the licenser Google Inc.. We also refer to that the
display in Google Earth is not maintained permanently by the GPSoverIP GmbH, but
that we emphasize more on digital map material. Since the map material is provided
online, a significantly higher internet line must be available for the map display. Therefore
delays during the card display can result at small bandwidth and at computers not with
low performance.
