questions about the electronic transfer of the signals over a controlled precedence in the

communication up to more abstract tasks which turn out within the communicating

applications.

A GPSoverIP-/DATAoverIP system always exists of one devices with integrated receiver

and transmitters for geo coordinates and user data. It sends its data over the proprietary

GPSoverIP/DATAoverIP protocol to a - working according to the FIFO principle - gateway.

From there the mobile service GPSoverIP/DATAoverIP provides these information readily

for the query of GIS- and ERP applications via the API-interface in real time.

The GPSoverIP/DATAoverIP protocol moves on the OSI layers 3 and 4. The OSI

layers 5 to 7 are available to every application developer with a defined interface to the

GPSoverIP-/DATAoverIP protocol.
