8. Installation
• Make sure that the power connection can be separated without much effort when
connected to the vehicle power supply. The separation is reasonable, when the
vehicle is parked for a long time (longer than 2 weeks).
• Do not snap or squash the connecting cable. Avoid freely laying cable routes when
installing into the vehicle so that nobody can get stuck or stumble.
• Also avoid a mounting position for the GPSeye IN1 in which it can be considered
as shielded by metal faces or metal-coated windows or reception may be affected. It
weak networks, it can be detected if you hear a kind of “ticking” during operation.
This has to do with the amplifying transmission power of the device and is a normal
process. If these noises should occur permanently, please change the location of the
GPSauge IN1 in order to stop these interferences.
