13.3. clickApoint
13.3.1. General information
clickApoint is the first dynamic online search engine for the Web 2.0 and can show logistic
processes live. In the ideal case the available maximum throughputs are optimally used
in this way. Superfluous trips, superfluous costs and pollution through CO2-output can
be clearly lowered through the use of this innovative platform.
clickApoint is an ambitious and technically very challenging internet project. The approach
is to integrate even more functions into the search engine clickApoint in the future. Thus in
the future for example it is planned also to offer a freight stock exchange with clickApoint
as well as additional services, such as road condition reports.
If you as a customer would like to release your capacities of the mobile services GPSoverIP/
DATAoverIP, then you should register on clickApoint to provide these for other users too.
As user of the mobile services GPSoverIP/DATAoverIP, the registration can be simplified
when you enter your customer number and your password. On clickApoint you have
the possibility to create vehicle profiles for example from where to where your vehicle
drives in the case of recurring trips, on which day and at which times which capacities
are available, to where you would be ready to serve a trip or also whether you would like
to take a person along, which data you would like to display for the search and which
not, of course also, how the searching one may get into contact with you.
Please always remember: the more precise you create and maintain your profile, the easier
and faster your offer will be found and the more effective is your personal benefit.
