8. Installation

77

1. Choose the position on the dashboard to which the system is supposed to be attached.

Put the screwing-carrier onto the surface and mark the position of the three fixing

screws. Use either the supplied self-cutting screws or drill corresponding holes for

M5-screws, then place the screwing-carrier onto the chosen position.

Secure the M5-screws under the dashboard through washers and nuts.

The screwing-carrier is now firmly connected to your vehicle.

2. Connect the GPSeye IN1 with the screwing-carrier. When connecting, pay attention

to the correct position of the components to each other, especially to not conceal

the drilling hole on the back of the device (refer to see ill.

You have the correct position if the drilling for the security screw is just affected by

the carrier plate.
Screw the screwing-carrier together with the GPSeye IN1 only using the supplied

security screw. Please only use the supplied screwdriver in order to avoid damage

to the security screw. Make sure to not over tighten the screws.
