7. Description of the Hardware
The scope of delivery also contains a charging cable (12 V) (with mobile use of the GPSeye
IN1). Connect the case cable with a suitable connection in your vehicle. Connect the
voltage plug to the multi-polar socket at the device. Charge theGPSeye IN1 over some
hours. The charging process will be finished automatically.
7.2.4. USB 1 (USB Master Port)
On the USB Master port (USB 1 socket) (refer to 4 in ill.
7.2 Connections on the Backside
on p.
) you can connect an USB-Stick for example. You can access the files that are
stored on the USB stick (music, pictures, videos) via the corresponding menu items (refer
to section „
“ on p.
) of the user interface.
Please inform yourself of the usable file formats in section „
C Specification and Certificates
on p.
The multimedia files must be stored on a USB mass storage or a SD card. For performance
reasons you should store films on an own SD-card. Indeed films can be played also by a
USB mass storage, however, the performance in this case is clearly worse.
Tip:
The USB port (USB 1 master) on the back can not be used simultaneously with the
USB Mini port (USB 1 master) on the front. The USB Master port can be used only
with connection to the power supply.
You can connect also other devices to this USB Master port including devices for which
you programmed your own applications.
Tip:
Remember to install the driver for the respective devices. Several devices can also be
connected via an USB hub. For questions, please refer to the GPSoverIP Customer-Service.
