4.2. GPSoverIP - what is that?
GPSoverIP is a procedure for the transfer of GPS data by means of an internet protocol
(also refer to section „ 19.2 General Information about the Open Interfaces “ on p. 209 ).
Freely accessible interfaces facilitate diverse application and programming possibilities!
The patented procedure is an elegant and efficient possibility for the use of GPS data.
Low transmission costs, transmissions accurate to the second and integrated protocol
functions do not represent a problem anymore!! Intelligent encryption technologies
guarantee for the security of the data. Through compression of the data, the transferred
amount of data is very small. The mobile service GPSoverIP controls the data flow
and guarantees the security of the data simultaneously. GPSoverIP thus represents the
optimal protocol for any kind of GPS-location/vehicle location.
4.3. GPSoverIP - what is that?
DATAoverIP is an interface for the transmission of general data through a mobile service.
The mobile service DATAoverIP takes over all pending tasks which are necessary for the
transmission and processing. This includes data compression, format transformation,
conversion, encryption, package management, signal strength supervision, confirmation
procedure, and so forth. DATAoverIP enables every customer to send his important data
