MULCO Fleet Direct contains following functionality:
1. Online vehicle tracking
This central component guarantees that at any time the disposition has knowledge
about the current position of all vehicles. Many trips can be optimized by that.
2. Graphic vehicle disposition
In order to even more simplify the disposition of tasks lastingly, click and drag
suffice in the future to plan drive orders, calculate routes and distribute tasks to
the vehicles.
3. Detailed order tracking
Vehicles which leave the premises do not fall into a “Black hole” any longer.
Where the processes until return of the HGV have been mostly hidden before, the
disposition now continuously remains in contact with the HGV and can always “see”
it.
4. Recording of routes for driving orders
The permanent online-recording of all vehicle movements allows a gapless documen-
tation of routes. For that, driving times and covered distances are assigned to the
tasks and thus a comprehensive cost analysis will be realized.
5. Interactive status information in the disposition
With MULCO 2.1 the disposition becomes the central element of the order tracking.
Next to the simplification of the operation which allows the disposition of complete
tasks through simple click and drag, the program continuously gives feedback about
the processing statuses of driving orders.
Reaching certain positions of vehicles (Destination, scale etc.) is indicated as well
as the driving speed and/or rest and waiting times of vehicles.
6. Map material for the USA and Europe
Fleet Direct is based on the map material of Microsoft Mappoint, i.e. on 100%
up-to-date map material of Navtech. With the support of Mappoint, RECY Systems
