15.6. Bluetooth Function of the GPSeye IN1

Bluetooth is an industry standard developed in the 1990s for the wireless (radio) connection

of devices for short distances.
Bluetooth provides a wireless interface through which both mobile devices such as mobile

phones and PDAs and computer and peripherals can communicate with the GPSeye IN1.

15.6.1. Built-in Bluetooth Interface

The built-in Bluetooth interface allows for the direct connection to mobile phones. With

this option you can make calls with your mobile phone within a range of about 10m via

Bluetooth.

Please note, that the transmission between the mobile phone and the GPSeye IN1 may not

be considered as “safe” in terms of data protection standards, as always with connections

via Bluetooth.
